Infiltrate 11 - James Infiltrate - Void Remixes

Ryan Berkeley returns with a brand new release, "The Arp Ascending EP" in his signature stripped back and raw house style. 6 tracks that all started out as live jams and reworked into an collection of songs that flow through floating leads, deep bass, dubbed out influences and subtle vocals. Equal parts deep early morning energy and textured soundscapes.

'Goin' Deep' opens the EP with a Chicago infused house groove and soaring analogue leads. Keeping the energy at 100%, track 2 'Wise Groove' is a minimal roller with heavy low end, one for the smoke filled rooms and early morning enthusiasts.

'La Niña' boils down to vast soundscapes, a slow number showcasing Berkeley's dynamic side, reminiscent of some his earlier works.
'The Arp Ascending', the releases namesake song starts with heavy drums and epic arpeggiated synths, underneath a rolling bass-line that keeps things moving, all they way up and up, ending in an epic climax.

The EP dives down again into 'She Sells Sea Shells', a lush downtempo number with layers of blips and bloops weaving through strings and 808's. Rounding out the EP is the dubbed out finisher, 'Polish & Protect' with hypnotic stabs and FM leads, clocking in at an appropriate 4 minutes 20 seconds.

MIX 041 - TSUNIMAN (@tsunimanmusic / Iman Cavargna-Sani) is a London-based DJ part of the collectives @Sisu_crew and @Co-Select.

Originally from Switzerland, TSUNIMAN has lived in London for the past 6 years, where she studied Cultural Studies and Media at UAL. It was only after her first squat rave that she started to grow a strong interest in electronic music, which led her to want to get behind the decks. Thanks to a fortunate encounter with two members of London-based DJ collective Co-Select, TSUNIMAN was invited to practise weekly in the collective's first base at Imperial College radio station in West London, where she learnt to dj and started getting more involved in the scene, playing at parties and on the radio. TSUNIMAN is a Klub Verboten resident and has played alongside DJs TASHA (Neighbourhood), Stephanie Sykes (47/Fullpanda) Dasha Rush (Fullpanda) and Anastasia Kristensen (Arcola). Her sound taps into several genres, often ranging from Trance, Progressive House, Techno, EBM, Electro and Breakbeat - TSUNIMAN likes to recreate soundscapes that explore the underground, celebrating the music of the past with the energy of today’s audiences.

Tronic has a 20-30 year long history with releasing melodic house and techno. While we opted for the more raw sound in the past few years, Christian wanted to go back to his roots and produce more emotive, groovy, and melodic house and techno again. Lamour Toujours is a progressive groover that has a disco-influenced bassline and adds an emotive chord progression in the break. We asked Argentinean legend Hernan Cattaneo to make a remix. As a long time supporter of Tronic we felt that he would be a great candidate for this remix. Hernan Cattaneo and Kevin Di Serna teamed up and delivered a stunning remix focusing on the melodic chord progression of the original! To finish this release, we asked Tokyo-based Frenchman Vantage to give his New Disco touch to the track. We are very proud of this release and hope you support it!
