processes and forms
from aggregation to their pieces; mentally
dismantling a puzzle
and appraising every part.

the forces that conspired to wipe Barry
and its sixteen lonely residents
from the map.

of fallen barometric reading
held a billion, trillion hidden causes. like
flashes on the surface of the sun, or

of chrysalis-wet wings.

but it's okay, it's just a job.

trusting weather patterns and remembering me,
