I was going through old projects the other day, and found this among them. I knew it was something I started last year, but apparently I had literally finished it and just forgotten about it. There are things I didn't notice before that could use fixing with my new and improved mixing/arranging skills, but oh well. It's a product of its time (and by "it's time" I mean like 5 months ago)

This is one of my favorite Au5 songs from a songwriting perspective. There's a chord in here that I've been internally calling "The Atlantis Chord" when I use it in my own songs. (I believe technically it's some special voicing of a dominant 11, could be wrong though) It was a direct inspiration for my anv7 song, and I really wanted to create a version of it that emphasizes the deep, mystical mood it has.
