Serious, serious tune this! Reminiscent of that pure pioneering Bristol sound from the late 90’s... K Jah puts a 2014 stamp all over this riddim’ to make it one those tracks that will do damage on any dancefloor. The eerie intro on this one step’s out as it draws on the senses & snaps your neck along to the beat! Further to that... the track then introduces a trippy melody that sounds like something ghostly is creeping up on ya! At the breakdown hip-hop vox catapult you in to a bouncy bubblin’ b-line that hooks you in & doesn't let go till the track fades away! A really intoxicating track that will have you bubblin’ to say the very least.

Hailing from Helsinki in Finland, Physics has been busy for years producing, DJing, and running his own music label, Midnight Sun Recordings. He is looking to release music that's genuine and has done so since his first release back in 2003. His productions have been released on the scene's most seminal labels including Metalheadz, Liquid V, Hospital, Fokuz, Formation, MAC II and Secret Operations just to mention a few. His productions have seen dj support from the likes of Randall, Goldie, DJ Storm, Bryan Gee, LTJ Bukem, DJSS, Pendulum, A.M.C and many more. He is constantly pushing music out on his own Midnight Sun label and is also working on an artist collaboration project called "Midnight Sons" together with long-time companion Christian Champagne. In the studio, he has previously worked with names such as S.P.Y, Alix Perez, Seba and Phil Source (Source Direct) and XRS.

DJing wise, Physics likes to play the whole spectrum of drum & bass and he likes to build sets that take the listener on a journey. You can be sure to hear dubplates of him and his peers in his sets that are always oozing of soulful deepeness but still maintaining a dancefloor edge to them!

Cortex, a brand known for their packed line-ups representing the true London underground, paired with Worlds Collide and The Cause to bring you their 3rd and largest instalment yet of Genesis, the annual party to end off the year. Previous Genesis parties were headlined by 4AM Kru, DJ Flight, Nectax and more. 

This time round, a super heavy 3 room layout was created, each room with various flavours and genres. Artists on the night included Fracture, Fixate, Mixtress, OS:MAN, Sexy Lady Massive, and more, as well as loads of local underground crew takeovers. Killahertz was lucky enough to film the Vinyl only DnB room, featuring none other than legends DJ Storm, DJ Mantra, MC Blackeye as well as Silva Snipa, Mina, Notorious Steppaz, Burna Records and SKYWALKA.

Mark 8en Moss - Don't Want To Hear (CLIP)

Crytic spun black circles with grooves in them with the hopes of those grooves transferring vibrations into a needle and eventually a conus that transfers vibrations to the air and into your eardrums, your eardrums making liquid with tiny hairs in it vibrate and those tiny hairs transferring this vibration to nerve signals that your brain hopefully has a positive reaction to!

Firing out of the blocks from the Playaz family comes Sub Zero's ‘Remixes EP', spinning a fresh take on the heavyweight tunes already loved by many. Dawn Raid’s style of DJ set can simply be referred to as straight up rinse out, with a musical edge! This is due to all the artists in the collective having a shared experience in DJ/MC performance and production spanning the past 15 years from jungle as it was back in the early 90’s, to its present day DnB format. Combined with a real passion for the music, and the scene since it’s inception in the early 90s, Dawn Raid seek to deliver productions and live performances that represent the spectrum of Jungle/DnB from its beginnings to the present day. They do not limit themselves to current trends and always encompass the genre in its many forms, from deep and rolling, to big tear out tracks… always with a strong reference to the core elements and influences of the music from it's beginning.
