1/ Veggie Samba 果菜桑巴

It’s a festival of vegetables! Cherubic tomatoes, primed by Grandpa sun, kick up their heels to the bodacious beat. Enigmatic celery, slim, spicy and sweet, capers with agile eggplants, whilst saucy sweet potatoes sway and twinkle-toed turnips shout “bom dia”! Go on, take a bite! Flavours and textures explode on the palate like party confetti as our garden greens celebrate. Mother always said to eat your vegetables. 
南美洲附近有一个小岛。岛上水果蔬菜称霸。因为它们体内含有大自然的能量。幸运的话，可能会碰上即兴嘉年华。红橙黄绿蓝靛紫，激情洋溢，可想而知。

Everyday, trash is dumped into our oceans, at the expense of our animal friends. We grow plastic mountains instead of fruit and flowers. But we can make a difference to prevent blue skies and greenery from becoming a page in the history books. Inspired by a true story of a young boy who wakes before dawn to clear trash for recycling in his apartment block.

Intended for listening in an up close and personal setting, Wen Xi expresses all the Thank You-s that are meant for those around us, and yet are so often buried deep in our hearts. The music co-written by Dawn & Tat Tong is reflective and pensive, while the lyrics by veteren lyricist of Channel 8 dramas Zhang Lesheng so aptly captures the vivid yet complex feelings of a stubborn and strong-headed girl who fights her own pride to relay her appreciation for the people around her. The song arrangement simply features a guitar and string accompaniment, bringing out the intimacy of the song, and the layers of emotion conveyed by Dawn’s soothing vocals. Listen out for the unexpected twists in the song structure that add to the ride.

In a world where promises are broken as easily as they are made, it is still possible to believe in ‘happy ever after’. Wu Ming Zhi is a song for would-be believers, readying themselves to take the plunge and make that vow that they will always keep. The lyrics by Dawn & Ernest Wong speak of a bride waiting to be picked up by her true love, not the least fazed by trepidation, but calmed instead by a quiet confidence emanating from deep within. The vocals, aided by the melody (Dawn & Tat Tong) and arrangement (Tat Tong), seemingly float off into the sky, disappearing into the clouds like a dream.
