'Before...' is a song all about sensing an impending danger heading your way, and doing everything in your power to escape its clutches before it's too late! This song was written prior to the pandemic of 2020, and though I in no way presume to be able to see into the future, its abstract nature has taken on new meaning to me due to all that has happened since the initial outbreak.

'Harmonise' is one of my favourite tracks written for my wonderful sister's wedding several years ago. It takes the point of view of a couple coming together in the union of marriage, and tries to capture the happiness and surreality that such an overwhelming day of emotions brings. I recorded this at a time when Corona virus seems to be decimating the fabric of society across the world, never have we needed to come together more and to look out for each other. I hope this finds you and your loved ones safe and sound x

'Wasted Time' is a song about looking back to the past, pining for something that once was, but in the end accepting that life has moved on and so must you. Have you ever made decisions you later regretted? I believe it is part of humanity to do so, and we only truly learn from these moments in our lives.

Dawn Chorus is an artist / producer based in London and Devon

After many years of performing in bands around London, Matt Williams aka Neon Dreamer now writes, perform and produces as a solo artist, with occasional collaborators helping him to bring full-band versions of his songs to life in a live setting.

Armed with a white American Deluxe Telecaster and a host of trippy effects pedals, Neon Dreamer's music is heartfelt, epic, melodic, with intricate guitar lines and a retro edge. In a live setting witness him layering sound upon sound with his loop pedal, allowing him to be both rhythm and lead guitarist together.
