For our first episode of 2024, we invited Antoine alias Dawn Gab to share some music with us.

  Dawn Gab is a producer, DJ and music maven based in Brussels. Born in France in the 90s, it is through travels and in the bins of record stores that he forged a sharp musical identity.

Passionate about dub, techno and micro-house, he offers progressive and hypnotizing sets. Not inspired by trends, he prefers to merge genres, which reflects in his own productions, the most recent ones being signed on MixCult Records, Indeep or Conceptual.

In 2019, after a few years of clubbing, he co-founds the collective and label Perception 知覺 with Lim Tzo. He then became actively involved on the Brussels scene and distinguished himself alongside artists such as Janeret, Diego Krause, Mike Sharon and Paolo Rocco.

Dawn Gab est un producteur, DJ et passionné de musique basé à Bruxelles. Né en France dans les années 90, c’est à travers les voyages et dans les bacs des disquaires qu’il se forge une identité musicale pointue.
Féru de dub et de minimale (house / techno), il propose des sets progressifs et hypnotiques. Ne s'inspirant pas des tendances, il préfère fusionner les genres pour une approche plus personnelle qui se reflète dans ses productions, récemment sorties sur MixCult Records, Indeep et Conceptual.
En 2019, après quelques années de clubbing, il fonde le collectif et label Perception - 知覺. Il s’implique alors activement sur la scène Bruxelloise et s’illustre aux côtés d’artistes comme Janeret, Diego Krause, Mike Sharon et Paolo Rocco.

After years of digital presence, 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 steps into the physical realm with PRCPW001, a debut wax release from label founder 𝗗𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗯. 

The EP opens with 𝘚𝘪𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘺, a slick and percussive cut that sets the tone with a steady bass and quick drum programming that drives the track forward with precision and energy. The groove unfolds with measured restraint, gradually teasing out new layers without ever losing focus. Its clean mix and subtle swing make it a proper tool - sleek, propulsive, and sharp edged.

The full EP also includes two more originals from Dawn Gab plus a remix by Berlin-based mainstay Diego Krause, shaping a well balanced package aimed directly at the dancefloor.
