This is a song that I actually wrote the day BEFORE the news broke out about this new wave of craziness going on in the world. At first I thought that was shocking. Write a song about how corrupt the system is (among other important world issues) and wake up the next day to hear about what happened to #AltonSterling? But after reflecting and realizing that these are the kinds of things that happen far to often in our society, I felt that "Another Episode" was the perfect title for this song, as it's really nothing new. It's the same sh*t, different day. To the point where it almost feels like we're watching a repeat. This was a song that I planned on holding onto a lot longer, but recent events have caused me to change my mind. Let me know what you all think!

Letter To The Listener:

You can call it the old mixtape before the new mixtape. You can call it the mixtape before the album. You can even call it the album before the album. I look at it more as the side story before the MOVIE. Here's a collection of unreleased songs by me that I love too much to never release, but also don't quite fit the direction or sound that I plan on going forward with. Most are old songs that you may have heard me play at BBQs or house parties (HEAD is track 6 for all you nasty people who always ask me for it if you wanna skip right to it). A couple are new songs that didn't quite fit with the rest of the MOVIE for whatever reason. And finally, some are just songs that I always waited for the right time to release, and that time never came. But don't make the mistake of thinking that these are throwaways. The side story is an integral part of of the journey on account of the fact that it is important to know where one comes from before attempting to understand where one is going. I hope you all enjoy this project and I hope it keeps you satisfied until I'm finished applying the final touches to the MOVIE.
