Recorded post-ADE, Monday morning, surfing on the best afterglow. Downtempo, absolutely imperfect but a good representation of my mood a week ago.

Last Sunday I was the happiest I’ve ever been, partly because of a relentless and fulfilling ADE, but most definitely because of the @thegardensofbabylon weekender.

This was the end of a two year cycle, a cycle of reconstruction and transformation. One that thought me how to live the way I am now.

Along these years the gardens have always been here as a family that I could go back to, feel comfortable being myself and connect with beings that taught me how to love unconditionally.

Well what a weekend to close that loop.

From the wonderful (and my god emotional) opening breathwork from Eva Kazcor and @joep-mencke to not being able to stop smiling and never wanting the weekend to end.

Gave everything I had on the dancefloor, hugged and love. It felt right and complete, and so did I.

I’ll always be grateful to this community and am already looking forward to the next time we connect, knowing that I’ll feel safe again. Thank you for your smiles, laughs, dances, hugs, kisses, you're all in my heart.

I'll look back fondly at this set remembering how happy I was at that time, happy that this cycle was over, and excited to start the new one.

Only in the right Garden can you blossom

Writing this while reflecting on the beginning of this year. As I’m starting a new cycle, I’m scared and excited. Letting go feels good though, especially because it gave me a reason to hug those dear to my heart once more. 

Music is even more present now and is the cushion I lay on to keep me grounded. This set is a transitional one, a marker in time that will make me look back at this period happily, hope you’ll like it!

Comfort in the midst of Change

Things are going good here, change feels constant and whatever event life sends my way feels like progress.
Now that I’m settled back in this place it does feel like I’m more in the moment, not having to figure out what comes next, I kinda like it.
Though I’m missing you a lot, I’m happy connecting with new souls here.
I’m building something new, and it is not something I expected I would be doing, but surrendering here feels great.

Music has been of course that lifeline I rely on, and I made you a mixtape (or I guess a mixcd, remember burning CDs?).
It’s a good compilation of what gets my heart beating hard (yes there’s a remix of a twilight track but I want no comment on that).

Hope life’s been good to you… how’ve you been?

- DAY -
Picture a laid back garden, tropical plants and the sun shinning through and gently warming your face. This one is for your garden hangout, expect slow and warm sounds.

Rotation - Day

A regular Sunday, we were recounting the beautiful weekend we had and decided to play a bit, one thing led to another and a 2 hour set just came to be. Slow and dark with new wavy influences and a big touch of disco, really closed out the weekend perfectly.

- NIGHT -
The garden is now a totally different place now that dusk has passed. Colourful lights paint the trees different shades. This one is for the late night hang out, the one where you feel comfortable to close your eyes and let go.

Rotation - Night

Hard to put into words how special that night was.

Last year on Christmas Day was held Inchala Yard, a very special event in my favorite spot in town. Inchala has been the place I felt the most at home at, part thanks to the beautiful environment, but mostly because of its community and care for one another. Inchala Yard was an event for grounding, gathering and celebrating the end of the year together, having the opportunity to play there was a pure blessing. 

The recorded set follows what this event is about, an introspective voyage of slow and deep sounds, helping one make a pause, reflect, hug and cherish loved ones.

I cannot thank enough Samie and the Inchala community for being kind and welcoming hearts. I will feel forever grateful to have crossed path and shared moments like this.
