DJ Duappo, né Michele Di Molfetta. L'approche de l'activité DJ arrive en 2018, en s'intéressant à la Deep House des années 90.
Cependant, ses goûts s'élargissent rapidement grâce à la découverte de chansons de la collection de vinyles de son père qui lui font découvrir la musique disco, funk et soul des années 70.
Avec le début de son parcours à la radio en 2022, il a commencé à explorer d'autres genres tels que la new wave, l'alternative, le reggae et d'autres qu'il joue encore chaque semaine pour « Legend » est une émission musicale sur Radio Deejay.

Ses connaissances musicales le distinguent également dans ses DJ sets live, dans lesquels il joue de la house en format analogique.

DUAPPO :
DJ Duappo, born Michele Di Molfetta. The approach to DJ activity arrives in 2018, taking an interest in the Deep House of the 90s.
However, his tastes soon expanded thanks to the discovery of songs from his father's vinyl collection which helped him discover the disco, funk and soul music of the 70s.
With the beginning of his journey on the radio in 2022, he began to explore other genres such as new wave, alternative, reggae, and others which he still plays weekly for “Legend” is a music program on Radio Deejay.

His musical knowledge also distinguishes him in his live DJ sets, in which he plays house in analogue format.

Comenzamos febrero con una colección de canciones de gran belleza dispuestas a tocar las fibras más sensibles. Se trata del misterioso proyecto de un misterioso artista procedente de una misteriosa ciudad al sur de Madrid que no ha querido revelar su nombre pero llamaremos Carlawer así a bote pronto. Ejem… cuando se trata de escribir sobre el trabajo de uno mismo es más difícil que sobre el resto, así que como no tenemos pasta para pagar a otro editor voy a hacer un intento: simple y llanamente canciones que me emocionan, agitan y mueven la patata. Me la puse ayer en el coche y en alguna parte eché de menos el paquete de Renova. Un proyecto que quería subir a Youtube pero por temas de copyright no pudo ser, así que se encontraba guardado en un cajón digital. El título guarda relación con la inquietud artística que tenían los egipcios a la hora de embalsamar los cuerpos para que éstos quedaran lo más intactos posibles con el paso de los años. El ser humano y su ansia de la eternidad desde que es consciente de que su paso por el universo es efímero. Dejar el recipiente en las mejores condiciones posibles por si algún día el alma regresa al cuerpo. Muy humano todo. Como la música, que con su capacidad de desatar las emociones más primitivas, también busca ese huequito en lo eterno planteando la cuestión sobre nuestra propia existencia y nuestras cosas; las cosas que nos definen como humanos, con nuestras fortalezas y flaquezas, alegrías y penas. Espero que os guste este puñado de canciones al desnudo, sin pitch ni mezclas. Canciones porque sí.

In an unusual collaboration between a Brazilian artist and a Chinese label, Numa Gama returns with a left-field take on her music-making, A Spectral Turn. Inspired by Derrida’s Hauntology, and the post-capitalist instigations of Anna Tsing, she weaves an eerie and cold subtropical soundscape that explores themes of freedom and imagination amidst the ghosts that inhabit today’s world.

Each track here unfolds like a vignette, as translucent synth lines float independently, accompanied by abstract sounds and glitches. This amalgamation creates a rational yet cozy stream of consciousness, guiding the listener through the haunted corridors of the memories of the past, ideas of the present, and miscarriages of the future. To summon these ideas, Numa Gama draws a parallel between negotiating political change and making kin with her own creative desires.

Rather than providing nostalgic sensations or futuristic insights, A Spectral Turn acknowledges that history ends at every moment, and gives way to new beginnings, swarming with ghosts.
