Day Before Us is an organic-infused dark ambient project with neoclassical embellishments. Formed by Philippe Blache in 2011. A number of physical albums has been published for well noted indie labels and distributed worldwide. With a sense of melodical lyricism, the soundscapes approach airy, gloomy and poetical registers with roots in the Senschust-weltschmerz aesthetical sensibility. Cathedral-texturing drones, reverberant stormy noises meet glimmering ambient sceneries, wandering piano notes, liturgic drones and luminous singing phrases.
