'The Daydream Disco Mix Series' brings you the best disco, soul, funk and house vibes from artists both established and upcoming. Each mix is made up of 10 of our guests favourites tracks of the moment. This edition we bring your the mammoth disco collective that is Late Night Disco.

Late Night Disco is a DJ duo based in Hackney, London. For the past 8 years, they have been filling dance floors up and down the country, bringing their love for disco and feel-good funk-filled edits whilst supporting headline acts such as Dave Lee, Dr Packer & Dimitri from Paris.

Over the last 8 years, Late Night Disco have established themselves as a leader in playing the perfect disco edits in the capital. From DJ sets all over,  festivals up and down the country, to their own conffeti filled club nights, they have teamed up with some of the biggest names. One thing is for sure, the dancefloor will be full and the good times will be flowing.

This episode is a celebration of cosmic disco pioneer, Studio 54 icon, jazz improvisor, and activist, Asha Puthli. Asha is said to have been the inspiration for Giorgio Moroder's early work with Donna Summer, in addition to being sampled extensively in hip hop. She was the first South Asian crossover artist to make a mark on dance, jazz, and pop culture in the West.

Enjoy this space walk through Asha's catalog, starting with some originals, as well as several wonderful remixes just released on Naya Beat Records. From Disco Mystic, Vol 1 I'll be featuring remixes by Yuksek, Jitwam, Psychemagik, Kraak & Smaak, and label owners Turbotito & Ragz, interspersed with some other inspiring female voices and diva energy from around the disco scene.
