Tracking of the basic ensemble performances and early mixes of both songs took place at 2Fly, the studios of Sheffield based producer, Alan Smyth (whose credits include iconic records by The Arctic Monkeys and Pulp). This brand new mix reverts to Alan's crisp, punchy production as its core, embellished with additional vocal harmonies and atmospheric instrumentation by the band. In short, it is how 'Sweet Georgia Gazes' deserves to be heard.

Popping Candy (trigg12strings)

Dayflower are an indie dream pop band from England, with a love of nursery rhyme melodies, reverb-drenched guitars and electronic textures.

Following a run of single releases, their debut album Honeyspun arrived in 2019. The debut 7" Sweet Georgia Gazes was released later that year via New York based label, Cloudberry Records with Daisy Age as the b-side.

The band are based in Leicester, a city that has seen them gig with Dublin noiseniks Girl Band, Russian shoegazers Pinkshinyultrablast and Super Furry Animals' offshoot Gulp. Leicester is also home to Candy Dust, a regular club indie pop night curated by the band...
