This track is solely about my personal addiction to pain killers and xanax bars, which is sadly a common suicidal combo, life can be hard, some people cope differently than others, I don't like to feel certain emotions. It got worse when my bestfriend Gary Cardinal, who saved me from an overdose on my 21st birthday, March 12, 2017 had passed away because We spent everyday together after that, he made sure I was always good and if I wasn't he would be there to help me get through it... He passed away early morning January 2, 2018. He was 25 years old at the time of his death. He would have been 26 on July 21, 2018. He left behind a special gift, a beautiful baby girl who I plan to put through college and make sure she has everything she ever needs because her father made sure I was always okay.
As of now I have kicked my xanax addiction but I still struggle with the percs. Pray for me.

DayJreemz is just another boy with a dream, but the difference is, he never sleeps. He’s constantly attacking ways to achieve his goals. DayJreemz was born in San Diego, California in 1996. He was raised by his single mother who was a struggling victim of the opioid addiction that washed over our entire country. He has found solstice in music since he was about 5 years old, he wrote his first poem at age 7, and started writing songs at age 9. He was always the center of attention by default, always taking lead. He stepped into a studio his first time when he was 16 and hasn’t looked back. In his music you will hear everything from the wavy vibrations of a pill popper, to the deep darkness of depression caused by years of PTSD. You will find yourself singing along to the melodies of heartbreak, or riding through the hood bobbin’ ya head to some of the most intricate street bars. DayJreemz is one of the most versatile artists we’ve seen in a long time and we can only fathom what’s to come.
