Solid Grooves welcome Brazilian talent Brisotti as he drops his latest single, ‘Chill Bill’.

A new name from South America who looks set for a big future, Sao Paolo’s Brisotti is an exciting young talent to watch over the coming months. Having featured as a secret weapon of label co-founder Michael Bibi’s sets dating back to last year, mid-September now welcomes the arrival of his latest single ‘Chill Bill’ as the Brazilian makes his Solid Grooves debut in style.

A punchy cut armed with sharp metallic drums and sweeping low-ends, with the tracks infectious whistle melody at its core, ‘Chill Bill’ looks set to mark the arrival of an artist on the rise and yet another peak-time anthem from one of the UK’s favourite labels.

Making their debut on Nic Fanciulli's Saved Records this month is Berlin based duo Mat.Joe, who team up with fellow German artists, C'Mon and Otistic for their brand new single, 'Pan Praise'. From their roots as Hip-Hop producers, Mat.Joe have moved into producing and playing crispy House beats paired with rhythmic Soul and Hip-Hop elements, resulting in a deep, dancefloor-approved sound. Between all three artists, their releases have found success on Toolroom, Mother, Nothing Else Matters, Defected, Armada Subjekt, Dirtybird and Mat.Joe's own imprint, PRÏMA. An upbeat and fun-filled production from the off, 'Pan Praise' is an instant dancefloor hit providing warm chords, hypnotic flute melodies, intricate percussive grooves and electrifying vocal stabs throughout. Mat.Joe, C'mon & Otistic - Pan Praise

Blackchild (ITA) returns to Solid Grooves as the bubbling Italian serves up his latest single, ‘Hypin’.

As fresh and exciting names come, Blackchild (ITA) is right up there with the surging DJ, producer and label boss’ recent releases via the likes Hot Creations and his own LATEMORNING imprint only furthering his rapid ascent. 

Now an established member of the Solid Grooves family, touching down on the main imprint and sub-label Solid Grooves Raw seven times while joining the collective at the likes of ADE and Printworks, late May welcomes more signature dancefloor business on his return with the vibrant ‘Hypin’. 

Combining rolling drums and snaking low-ends with warping bass licks and trademark vocal samples, ‘Hypin’ sees the Italian deliver yet more heat on Solid Grooves as they continue to prove a perfect match.

Sorley returns to DFTD with a cohesive three-track EP, ‘Let It Shine’, building on the North East producer’s recognisable club-oriented aesthetic. His previous DFTD release, the heavily coveted ‘Deadeye’, secured the prime time ‘Friday Fire’ feature from BBC Radio 1 tastemaker Danny Howard. The next outing for the producer and DJ is championed by the title track; a rubbery, bass-led club release featuring heavy vocal manipulation decorated with squelchy synth lines.
