The Blood Covered It All (Cover)

Dayne Malcolm was born in the year 1991 on the tropical island of every tourist’s dream vacation, Jamaica. More specifically he grew up in the parish of Westmoreland in the Little London community. He can be easily considered as one of those children that were born with “Music in his bones”. As we would express in the Jamaican vernacular “Im a sing fram im eye deh a im knee”.The story of the singing sensation saw its genesis at the Little London New Testament Church of God where Dayne’s talent was identified, harnessed and showcased under the directorship of the then choir leaders Mr. Deverell Goldson and Mrs. Karen Knott Banhan. There he was an integral part of the children’s singing ministry blessing the congregation on numerous occasions.Dayne’s educational pursuit has traversed the borders of Jamaica and the United States interchangeably, among the schools attended are Little London Primary, Sunshine Elementary in Miami Florida, Savanna-La –Mar Preparatory and Ruseas High where his interest in singing heightened when he met the prolific music teacher and song writer Ms. Celia Lewis, where he also served as a member of the school choir of the latter attended school.Some of his achievements and involvements in music includes but not exhaustive of him being a participant in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission music competition, winner of the “Shining Star” competition and being a member of the popular singing group “Halal Ministries”. He has also on invitation ministered at gatherings too copious to mention.Dayne has since migrated to the United States and is concentrating on taking his music career to another level. He is presently working on his single "Set me Free”. He passionately embraces the philosophy “One God, One Praise” He is presently working at his Alma Mata as an Administrative Secretary where while a student served as Vice President of the Student Government Association.
