Chilean artist Massiande is back on Freerange with his second
lease for the label entitled Dancing Is Life. Those of you familiar with his releases on the likes of Ibadan, MOS, Phonica and most recently Midnight Riot and Groovin, will have a good idea what you can expect from this talented producer; top drawer classic US house sounds with a minimal approach and attention to production which makes his tracks sing on a big system.

Opener Dancing Is Life features Detroit poet and vocalist Diamondancer
who you may know from Jimpster’s remix of Delano Smith’s Message For The DJ amongst others) who delivers a powerful performance to accompany the bass-heavy, stripped-back underground groove.

Next up Massiande goes for the jugular with the powerhouse that is Here Comes The House Music. Primed and ready for peak time club spins this muscular 909 jam will hook you in with it’s looped up vocal, moody Detroit pads and propulsive rave stabs. An absolute weapon for your sets!

I Feel It takes us back into deeper territory with a rolling bassline bouncing around a shuffled house groove punctuated with fizzing synth stabs and vocal samples.

Closing out this brilliant release we have Focus which goes deeper still complete with a classic Nu Groove-esque sound palette and blissed out atmosphere. One to get lost in in the early hours!

I am very pleased to welcome to the label the fast rising French duo Dub Striker. 

Their label debut release 'Gorgeous' is a driving, moody journey into the jazzier size of deep house. Swirling and atmospheric stings compliment a heavy beat/bass to make this a peak time floor filler.

The remixes come via Roland Nights who brings his trademark skipy beats, adding a more upfront  piano led feel. Davelly strips the track back, turning it into a warm, energetic deep house trip, perfect for warming up or down as well as in-between.

Turbo Recordings presents a stellar new EP from emerging UK producer joeFarr, the latest addition to the label's New Jack Techno stable.

The gamut of Turbo releases can range from big-name big-deals to cult favorites to relative unknowns. The past year has seen the label delve more deeply into the latter category, scouting new talent and signing material entirely on the basis of the music, rather than preconception, hype or cronyism. With this release from young UK producer joeFarr, the label continues to expand its burgeoning New Jack Techno roster, which has been embraced by everyone from superstar DJs to highbrow tastemakers like Resident Advisor.

The title track's moody synth intro gives way to bleeped-out party vibes, riding an insistent  groove that strikes a balance between loopy mania and techno intensity. Meanwhile, "FE CR" welds clanging percussion to dark atmospherics and a relentless distorted acid line. Finally, "You Got Some Front" is an industrial-tinged banger that crosses the line into glowstick-eating rave madness.

"On Further Inspection" is yet another example of the wealth of undiscovered talents out there, just waiting to be uncovered and discovered. And we will be their Father Figures, till the end of time.

Selectors Assemble are back with another premiere featuring a track from the soon to drop Bologna On The Move EP on Boogie Cafe records! Track titled "Request Line" is a collabaration between two rising stars of the Italian house scene - Sam Ruffillo & Brine. This bit of dance floor heat is a fine slab of chunky, U.S garage-influenced deep house with swinging drums, a toasty bass with heady organ stabs, cut-up vocal samples and trippy electronics.

The original mix of &#8216;Vegas&#8217; is first up and features a huge bassline combined quite well, with atmospheric effects on the background. The Ron Costa remix is a solid tech-house production, as it combines groovy and funky elements mixed up with softy basslines. Another solid release from Deeperfect Records, displaying their policy of excellent.</p>
