I wrote this song about wanting to be in a relationship - to find the kind of love that lasts, but every time something good comes along you run away from it. Everything about the relationships looks good on paper, but when it starts to get serious everything inside you screams that it’s not right. You tell yourself the timing was wrong, or that person wasn’t right for you…but maybe it’s you?

Vocally reminiscent of Years and Years or Troye Sivan. I’m influenced by everyone from Ed Sheeran, Kygo and Rita Ora to Taylor Swift and Michael Jackson.
