As we continue the descent down the 3000’s of the Snowdonia mountain range. 3000.6 is Glyder Fawr at 3279 ft (999m) and is the higher of the two Glyderau summits which is gained up a scree slope above Glyn Y Can (Lake of the Dogs). The exact highest point between Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach is a matter of debate and they are only a few metres apart so you might well want to touch them both and join the rucksack club as we wiggle down the mountain side. Artwork is made with love for the local feral mountain goat population of Snowdon Massif, who were recently touted as bate by an idiotic hunting firm from across the borders by offering ‘the chance to shoot goats in the Welsh mountains for £1000’ yes you are reading this correctly… Protect our goats, protects our mountains, let this nomadic ancient breed run free and let our music take you to the niPPiest of peaks. 222 Units only. Jon Jones is a young 21 year old Australian artist. Creating a new style of Australiana influenced trance and deeply influenced by the beautiful outer-Melbourne suburb Warrandyte, he presents his EP "Warrandyte Bridge Reno" on the local Southern Exposure imprint.
This EP was created on the lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations and we’d like to pay our respects to their elders, past, present and emerging. Sovereignty has never ceded. This always was and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
First track off Southern Exposure’s debut EP. Warrandyte Bridge Reno is a reflection of its environment with dense percussion and beautiful synth work. Jon Jones’ musical interpretation of a unique place in Australia shows his deep love for the suburb.

When you find DJ Sotofett and Telephones on remix duties for the mighty Joan Bibiloni it’s sure to be a treat. For the 22nd installment in the saft series, two of Bibiloni’s greatest numbers from ‘Born’ (1989), are re-imagined for the occasion.

Sotofett opens up the A side with an extended version of Bibiloni’s ‘El Sur’. Clocking in just under twelve minutes, the so-called ‘mastermix’ is a version in the vein of the extended disco singles from the era of the original. Sotofett’s supernatural dancefloor touch centers around Bibiloni’s guitar-licks that gently slide along and communicate with the other elements of the original. This is a version to close a night with - or better yet - to close a summer set just before
sundown.

The B side contains a reworked version of ‘Sa Fosca’ by another Norwegian artist: Telephones. ‘Telephones Coastal Dub’, is another lengthy endeavor. The ten (and something) minutes long venture keeps in line with the Mallorcan character of the Bibiloni sound, while giving it a subtle touch of dancefloor, complete with the signature lead of the original as the focal point. The extensive intro and the balance between breeziness and firmness is sharply done and will make sure that the version can find its way into numerous settings.
