Jamie Woon is one of these artists which suprised us over and over again with his voice and music. Remixes with Burial, tracks like 'Night Air' or 'Lady Luck' just blow us away. Jamie has a big spectrum of musical possibilities and use them as he like to use it. You simply can see and hear his love for music. 

We did this track and decided to add some voice snippets from him, so we get the deepness we want. The track is called 'spirits', which is a really stunning interpretation by Jamie.

We all know & been through the mid-week blues and in some case teary tuesday, so today Mother Recordings serve up a fresh house hit  'Afternoon Sadness' is right on that theme.  Thankfully this Afternoon Sadness is a big ole' pick me up and behind this one is Ordonez, who serves up two succulent deep house originals that are filled with feeling. 

First up and our Debut Transmission for today, Afternoon Sadness is more than six minutes of feel good house music with sombre piano chords, vocal coos and rubber kicks that are groove based and inviting, get your ears around it.

You can always tell when the Norwegian's are in the house. Deep, moody, atmospheric, lovely vocals all glazed with a wintery touch and sparkle. The very same can be said for the Darkroom Dubs debut from Terje Saether.
The relatively unknown Oslo based producer is about to make a name for himself with the gorgeously spooky tech sounds of "Scared". A deep synth groove delivers us to the break where we are bathed in the sultry vocal of Malin Pettersen.
A key track for DRD label chief's Silicone Soul, "Scared" has been treated to a wealth of remixes. Not only are we treated to the tougher, dubby, glitched techno workouts of Freska & Daniel Kyo, Nadja Lind and Klartraum, but we are also presented with a stunning mix from label newbie Gregorythme and a quite unbelievable magnum opus from Terje's compatriots, Of Norway. At 24 mins she's an epic that you simply MUST take the time to listen... stunning!

Following up on his releases via Moodmusic, Crossfrontier and Save Us Records, Berlin DJ @affects has recently worked with Mexican record label @anathemarecords to release his new Deep House EP titled “Veritas”. “I wanted to work with a singer for quite a while now”, says the young artist. At first, the original track was created without vocals but then AFFECT! found the perfect voice in Lukas Weinmann. (...) Two remixes were created by Diynamic Music’s @thyladomid and @philippkempnich of Einmusika Recordings.

German trailblazer, Emanuel Satie will soon mix the next instalment in Get Physical’s excellent Body Language series. Before that, he serves up a stunning remix to be released ahead of the compilation, giving a taster of what to expect, and which is sure to be one of the key tracks within the mix.

The Berlin based DJ and producer has built up an impressive catalogue of house and tech cuts since 2011. He is a serial Get Physical contributor, as well as a regular on Saved Records, Moon Harbour and Knee Deep In Sound, and has an infectious style that’s filled with character, always pushing boundaries and never following trends. His recent single on Rebirth, huge in Ibiza right now, was Pete Tong’s Miami Music Week ‘Essential New Tune’ and he is once again riding a huge wave of popularity.

Here he tackles a track by Jay Haze feat. Big Bully & Sven VT with real skill and imagination.

Satie’s engaging version is dynamic, whilst warm and emotive, with solid drums rising and falling and freaky vocals permeating the groove. Vocal ad-libs add a sense of soul, and scattered percussion adds to the drama. This is a cut that is sure to see find favour with DJs and clubbers alike all through the summer and beyond.
