DBA is the collaboration between two of the busiest men in music: keyboard player Geoff Downes and writer/producer Chris Braide.  Both prolific and with calendars booked,  the music is born solely of their close friendship and shared passion for music -- with zero intention of ever taking their act on the road.  The two are immensely proud of their work together and plan to continue.  The two talk about DBA (Downes Braide Association) as "the best band you'll never see" with a smile.  They've released the highly acclaimed album "Pictures of You" on Vinyl and cd and are proud to participate in Record Store Day 2014 with a limited edition, clear blue vinyl EP produced by Chris Topham and Plane Groovy. That work is entitled Dreaming of England and contains two entirely new tracks and special editions of three prior ones.  Geoff Downes is part of music history - his Buggles video "Video Killed the Radio Star" was the first ever to play on MTV. He collaborates with a rock and roll who's who and currently is writeing, recording and touring with Asia and Yes. His most recent album with Asia, Gravitas, is charting all over the world and the recently recorded YES album is expected later this year.  In addition he continues his collaboration with Chris Braide and others. His own solo work hasn't been neglected: Electronica is the latest in a series of popular works and has just been released.  Chris Braide is an award winning British songwriter and producer currently living in LA.  He's responsible for many of the world's most listened to hits from Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and more. He penned and helped produce "Ten Feet High" which was the theme for the highly visible "technopop" Budweiser Light commercial featuring AfroJack. Chris' third solo album Fifty Dollar Planets and Twenty Cent Stars is scheduled for May release.  Chris continues to show his versatility with this latest solo effort and remarks that he was "channeling his inner Marc Bolan and T-Rex."
