Pretty Lights - Finally Moving (Kimati Flip)

The sedative coursed through The Mindweaver's veins, distorting his senses and warping reality into a surreal landscape of shadows and phantoms. His mind fought to maintain clarity, but every moment felt like a battle against the relentless tide of delirium.

As he descended further into the abyss, darkness engulfed the spiraling staircase. The air grew colder and more oppressive as each step he took echoed ominously through the narrow, winding passage.

Finally, the staircase ended abruptly, opening into a vast chamber illuminated by a sickly green light. At the end of the chamber stood a massive, impenetrable steel door covered in faded scriptures. 

As The Mindweaver walked towards the door, flashes of memory and hallucination intertwined. He saw glimpses of his past missions, fragments of his training, and even the faces of friends and foes. 

The lines between reality and illusion blurred until he could no longer discern where or what he was doing. Yet, a flicker of purpose drove him onward.

Suddenly, a cold, devoid-of-emotion voice crackled through the intercom. "You shouldn't have come here."

How Can You Lose (Searching) - Pretty Lights

The steel door creaked open, revealing an armored agent of The System. His presence was imposing as he held a cold, emotionless gaze that locked onto The Mindweaver. Without a word, the agent stepped forward, prepared to strike.

The sedative still gripped The Mindweaver's senses, twisting reality into a fractured nightmare, but as the agent advanced, a surge of clarity broke through. With a deep breath, The Mindweaver pushed the haze aside as he took ownership of his mind.
"You shouldn't have come here," the agent hissed, lunging with deadly precision.

The Mindweaver barely dodged the first blow as the clash of swords ignited in the dimly lit chamber. The agent was swift and ruthless, his movements honed by years of training under The System's command. However, The Mindweaver's powers surged, and he countered with a forceful shot from his Void Whisper arm pistol. 

The battle raged on, brutal and unrelenting. Both warriors moved with expert skill, but The Mindweaver's mental acuity sharpened with every strike. The agent, though formidable, began to falter. With one final burst of power, The Mindweaver sent a psychic blast crashing into the agent's chest, knocking him to the ground.

As the agent fell, his helmet clattered across the cold, metallic floor, revealing his face.

The Mindweaver froze, his breath catching in his throat.
It was Kellan—his childhood friend, the one who had once fought alongside him, the one who had been lost to The System. The Mindweaver's shock was palpable, his breath caught in his throat.

Kellan's eyes, once full of life and laughter, now stared up at him, blank and conflicted. Recognition flickered briefly, but the weight of betrayal hung heavy in the air.

The Mindweaver stepped back, his heart sinking as he stared at the fallen agent—his fallen friend.

Future Flowstate: Vol.1

As Kellan weakly struggled, The Mindweaver raised his hand. His fingertips glowed, and threads of light began to weave from them. These weren’t ordinary lights but finely tuned psychic lasers designed to pierce the neural barriers that trapped minds.

The Mindweaver aimed his hand towards Kellan’s head. The lasers danced like threads of light, connecting to the implants at the base of his skull. The chamber hummed with energy as the lasers began their delicate work, unraveling the layers of control imposed by The System.

Kellan thrashed around as if in pain; his body jerked to fight back as the implants resisted fiercely. The Mindweaver gritted his teeth as his concentration remained unshakable. 

The lasers pierced deeper, targeting the core of the neural implants. Kellan’s memories began to resurface with fragments of laughter, rebellion, and freedom. The System’s control began to falter.

With one final surge of energy, the lasers struck the implant’s core. Extensive sparks erupted as the device overloaded and shattered, generating a cascade of broken circuits and dying light. The room fell silent for a moment, the lasers disappeared, and the air hung heavy with the lingering tension of what had just transpired.
