GPS Tony is a producer and DJ from Michigan who started their journey into music taking influence from early days producing for Detroit rappers, the Midwest bleed-over of Chicago footwork, and the unbounded progressive energy of the city. 2021-2023, GPS Tony ventured out of the studio and began hitting the decks in Montreal, crafting their high-speed sound with a mind for the dance floor. Now based in Los Angeles, GPS Tony blends together footwork, juke, jit, breaks, jungle, East Coast club, 2-step - anything percussive and alive - to have you moving on the fastest route.

Introducing a new monthly mix from dbrk_lab resident @djsasomusic

SASO is a DJ and producer from originally from Texas who’s journey and introduction to music came at a early age, when she learned to play the drums at age four. Music was always playing in the house, from her dad’s band practices, to her older sisters Drum & Bass CD’s blasting.

Fast forward to today, SASO has been djing since 2008 and is a artist who takes influence from 90’s D&B, ghettotech electro. She’s known for her fast paced mixing style, and lots of sass & plenty of percussive, bass heavy tracks sure to keep you feeling energized.

For this mix, she wanted to provide a stripped back “Summer Mix” that offers something you can play by the pool, trust it’s got the heat. Enjoy!

Redstone Press uncorks another anomaly with the latest offering from First Epoque – The Antonelli Scrolls; an expansive four-track EP of riddled percussive tension and mythic resonance. A relic from an unknown era, like finding a USB stick inside a fossil. Precision-tooled dread, dubbed through unknowable years.

“To The Sea” opens like an ancient machine rebooting underwater — initiated by tidal sub-pressure and log-drum basslines, while rusted pads coalesce like liquid metal in the water. Each sound feels scrubbed of excess, chiselled to bone. It’s ritualistic techno, stripped back and hollowed out, possessed by half-remembered visions of Atlantis.

“Al-Tarif” follows with sharpened urgency — syncopated low-end funk coiled inside a lattice of unstable percussion. An encrypted script traced in stuttering kicks, cavernous bass drops and vapour-trailed synths; its structure feels less composed than summoned. The rhythm moves like a ritual procession: reverent and deliberate. Each percussive accent lands like a glyph etched into ancient stone.

“WRONGMANOEUVRE” — a misstep in the timeline, or a doorway left ajar. The track opens in disarray: detuned pads flicker like emergency lighting in a decompression chamber, while subaquatic kick-drums stutter and buckle under their own weight. The groove is broken but determined, dragging itself forward with a sense of mechanical dread.

Final transmission “Époque No. 25” hits like a rupture in the temple wall — a burst of high-velocity techno carved from scorched circuitry and panic-coded rhythm. It barrels upwards with relentless thrust. There’s no refuge here — only pursuit, propulsion. An overwhelming sense that something unknowable is closing in.

There’s no overt genre allegiance on The Antonelli Scrolls — just the steady unravelling of linear time. One for the initiates. Not easily explained. Not meant to be.

Full Motion Disaster (also known as FMD) is the musical alias of Mumbai based DJ/Producer, Aniket Dabholkar.  He runs @filth-inc-official - a heavy hitting electronic label that has developed a significant presence on SoundCloud, and gained popularity for showcasing quality Ghettotech, Electro, Breakbeat and Rave genres.

FMD is a highly versatile DJ, capable of tailoring his sets to suit the need of the hour, though he has a preference for playing an eclectic blend of Electro, Ghettotech, Ghetto House, Breakbeat and Rave, with his sets usually starting around 130 bpm and concluding at the 160 bpm mark over the course of 1-1.5 hours

Info: Having ignited 2025's output with an EP from Philadelphia’s Shai FM, Vief now looks to the east coast for its second stateside import of the year. Seattle-based producer Fleksor serves up four dubstep and techno inspired cuts, guaranteed to bring even most the languid dancefloors to boiling point.

The release contains two mixes of the titular track Arroyo De Mercurio, both clocking in at a healthy 140bpm, and is rounded out by two downtempo additions brimming with acid and percussion.

PREMIERE* DJ Satyrias - Dick On Acid  [Carte Blanche]

Brisbane collective Apparatus teams up with Wales producer Aloka for a two-track EP born from a few drizzly days in the city. Not exactly what you’d expect when swapping Wales for palm trees, but the rain kept the crew indoors and turned downtime into a writing session. The result is a snapshot of international collaboration in a city that’s been quietly exporting talent, while building its own stubbornly DIY identity at home.

Bluetongue ; A squelchy, deep, and slightly wonky piece of left-field techno with a sprinkling of latin drums. It moves at 150bpm but trades in weight and atmosphere rather than straight functionality, its warped textures drawing on the blue-tongue lizard living under the verandah of the house where Aloka was staying.
