DIG Episode 16 avec Islas

Kicking off our Live from Dimensions 23' series with a fiery mix from Cartulis' @unai-trotti. This spine-tingling 2-hour recording takes us straight back to Saturday evening at Cosmos, Unai taking the reigns from Raphael Carrau and guiding us into the night with a signature blend of techno, electro, breaks and more. 

This is a first of many live recordings from the summer that we look forward to sharing in the new year.

This mix is ​​an energetic excursion of songs from the past, highly appreciated by the audience, and from the present. Wonderful experience in this club, which always knows how to give strong emotions. with its wonderful and warm audience.  This not exactly experimental set also offers several of my productions, almost forgotten, in collaboration with J.Kitikonti and also some demos that will be released soon on Musek rec and other labels.

Fair enough, he did move to Ecuador when he was only three, but as a result of the many musical mixes he has been exposed to in his early life, he has a truly unique sound of his own. Nicola has an unwavering thirst for grooves of all shapes and sizes, and these can be easily noted via his many releases for the likes of fabric, Rhythm Section, Multi Culti, and his stunning downtempo longplayer for Nous’klaer Audio. With Alien Communications’ star rising exponentially, we’ve been eagerly anticipating the UK artist’s turn on our InSessions mix series - and he hasn’t disappointed. Welding bomb-proof beats, outrageous acid lines, and fathoms-deep basslines to robotic aesthetics, this mix simultaneously looks back in time while fast-forwarding far into the future. To say the future is bright for Alien Communications would be an understatement, as he continues to weave his way across the world’s finest dancefloors.
