Here's a short audio clip from January 21st, 2010 when I was helping Debbie Weisgerber record her part of demo at the B-97 studios. It's raw audio so you hear me in the background. It's really short but it captures her playfulness and the real Debbie behind that marvelous voice. Sure miss her and think of her often.

From November 1987. KIMN Morning Man Paxton Mills in Denver, Colorado called my dad for his famous "KIMN Morning Wake Up Call". At the time Paxton was doing the show with Don Hawkins ("Paxton & The Hawk") This was about 5 months before the legendary station changed format. I had moved to Hawaii about 2 years earlier and much fun is made at my expense. :) Sadly we lost Don Hawkins in 1995 and Paxton Mills in 2001. Thanks to KIMN sports guy Rich Beals and newsman Joe Ruble for making this tape for me back then.

Years ago, an engineer friend of mine, found an aircheck ("Kimn Skim") of one of my radio idols and gave it to me. It's Denver radio legend Steve Kelley from March 1981 when he was doing nights at KIMN. Steve would eventually move to afternoons at the mighty KIMN. Then a brief stint in St. Louis. Then back to KOA for many years after that. Steve is still very much a part of Denver radio and his Kelley and Company show is heard daily on KNUS from 1pm to 4pm.
