@charlesgreen and I decided to take a diversion from our usual selections and picked records from our House / Tech House / Acid / Psychedelic / Dub Techno collections to mix up live on air. We both really enjoyed the session, playing 2 records each was a doddle, felt completely natural and complimentary. As things were flowing so well we continued for an extra hour and here is the result.
It’s always fun going to back to back with a fellow vinyl junkie whose taste in music you respect, and it’s also a great way of discovering new music. We both felt that this set would not be out of place somewhere like Houghton Festival on the Terminus stage, so watch this space for some possible back to back live sets from us in the future.

1.	“50 Arc” is an unusual name for a club / label, where does it originate. What is the idea behind It?
Ha ha, yes it is pretty unusual. Its a measurement in astronomy. Cosmic imagery has been used for decades by artists who push boundaries to convey new forms of musical expression, going back to the space jazz of Sun Ra and his Arkestra, to Daphne Orams experimental electronics, to the pioneering electronic artists from Detroit, this link between space, the cosmos and musical expression continues today. So the 50arc name tunes us into a very rich heritage of ideas without constraint or boundaries, and hopefully matches our intent for the night, which is musical open mindedness and a feeling of complete freedom, which we hope everyone experiences when they come....
