DC The Don creates without borders. The Milwaukee-born, LA-based rapper is one of the most creatively daring artists in hip-hop today. His genre-blurring discography presents a spectrum of ever-changing sounds, anchored by DC’s precise and direct delivery. For him, being different is a strength. This has been the driving force behind his music, evidenced by the former XXL Freshman’s do-it-all dynamic. From rage rap, to punk and pop, DC’s swift rise is a testament to his wildly experimental and massively appealing ingenuity. Since delivering his first song “Everything 1K” in 2017, he has ascended from budding next-gen rapper to a burgeoning powerhouse. Following an abrupt halt in his recording career, after DC was unable to resolve a contract dispute, he was hindered from releasing music on streaming platforms for almost two years. Turning adversity into art, he launched his playlist, DC FRIDAYS, and started developing a community and fanbase online. In 2020, DC signed to Rostrum Records, and released his debut album, Come As You Are.
