Mayze 5 jahre la familia Live

Seit meinem erstem Elevator Katalog wollte ich Plattenspieler und später CD-Spieler haben, fast 15 Jahre später sollte ich sie endlich in meiner Wohnung stehen haben. Anfangs dachte ich bei den ersten Software-Lösungen: "Ach das reicht auch." Irgendwann war der Reiz verflogen und man hat viel Spass beim Platten spielen gehabt. Also wurde der Traum von früher wieder aufgegriffen und fortan übe ich so oft es mir möglich ist, mit beiden Geräten (Technics + CDJ) umgehen zu können. Heute zum Fete de La Musique hatte ich wieder Lust und versuchte einfach mal ein paar Tracks zu einem Set zu formen. Es ist nicht 100% perfekt, doch der Anfang ist gemacht. Viel Spaß beim Hören.

Six years ago, Token was born with the release of Inigo Kennedy's 'Identify Yourself'. Since then, each of his EP's has been a milestone in the label's growth and this new 3-tracker promises to be no different.

Title track ‘Cathedral’ has you floating under its arches at a sheer height above the heads of its 
worshipers, while ‘Chamber’ takes you back down straight to the centre of the dance floor. Closing the EP is the graceful ‘Accordion’, which could be the soundtrack to a lucid dream.

Token starts 2013 in pure Inigo Kennedy style: dark, refined and oh so magnetic.
