I have always loved the music of Claude Debussy, and wished he'd written for the organ. His Children's Corner Suite, in particular, seems well-suited for organ with it's exploration of color, timbre and range!

I chose the Hauptwerk sample set of the 1885 St. Etienne Abbey Cavaillé-Coll instrument in Caen, France because it represents the types of instruments Debussy would have been familiar with. Beyond being fun to play and interesting to listen to, I hope this provides a glimpse of what Debussy might have composed for organ had he chosen to do so. Enjoy!
