this song was one of the earlier songs I made, probably around 2008 or 2009. I didn't understand sampling that well, so instead of sampling a short part I just took the entire song. Nujabes and Uyama Hiroto really liked this song. This is actually taken from Takagi Masakatsu's "Exit/Delete". The plan was to release this on 7inch vinyl through visioneternal, including the original song as well. I heard from Masakatsu's old label and they really wanted it to happen, but never got to hear back from Masakatsu.. so instead it's on this project. I hope you enjoy it, as it is an old one.

After the fantastic response from his debut EP, Cream Collective are proud to present the brand new single from Brighton based producer SYZ. Stylistically, SYZ is known for his unusual synth sounds and off-key yet smooth drum arrangements and this track really epitomizes his style. Drawing key influences from typical hip hop styles, SYZ is showing how versatile he is as a producer.

Unlike anything Ninetys has put out before, ‘Late Nights In Geneva’ gives you an idea of the intended variation in his upcoming music, pushing his recognisable hip-hop style whilst intertwining some Jazz & soul influence into the mix. With more than a few (hundred) gems tucked away on his hard drive, this smooth instrumental will be on repeat until Ninetys decides it’s time to exit his studio & upload the next release.
