I don't hear anyone gripe about it, but that detuned synth in the beginning is intentional and I tweaked the knob to be in tune during the song. I still can't believe this was all done live. No multitracking. No post editing. No post effects. Just mastering by Narayan Choudury.

Featuring nostalgic chiptune leads and ethnic percussion, "Zodiac Procession" is a slow waltz song designed with social dance in mind. It was first premiered in May 2017 at Stanford's annual night-long "Big Dance" event. The initial version was written in just 3.5 hours during the night before the dance. 

Even through my Celestial Melodies album I was never able to create a danceable cross-step waltz song that was quite satisfied with. I'm happy that I was finally able to come up with this one.
