SEEPS hails from the Bronx, NY and has always been obsessed with dancing, dance music and its culture. She is a true Nuyorican; which heavily influenced her taste in music and her penchant for becoming the veracious record collector she is. She would videotape every dance show and all the music videos, so that she could emulate each and every move contained within. “It would be extremely hard to be a DJ and not incorporate dance into everything I do because it’s everything”.


“I am obsessed with the New York Underground House Sound and movement of thelate eighties and early nineties; my first loves were Masters At Work, Pal Joey, Two Without Hats and Deee-Lite. You can’t be from NYC and not love Kenny and Louie,right? I have an insanely large number of members in my family. They have had a big influence on me and always wanted me to listen to “that record” they loved so much. I carried that inspiration of their crazy basement parties with me and mixed it into everything I am; music, dance, fashion, and eventually DJing and production”.

During the pandemic SEEPS capitalized on the opportunity to showcase her skills
through streaming regularly on multiple platforms. Her endless energy, deep crates and ability to blend vinyl and digital mediums earned her praise and recognition from her heroes; Jellybean Benitez, Louie Vega and DJ Sneak.

SEEPS has lived in the Los Angeles area for the last several years and plays out
regularly. Find her in Los Angeles playing with heavy locals DJ Sneak, Spiñorita and Aaron Paar, or escaping back home to NYC or her favorite city Madrid. 

She recently made her debut at Dante’s Hi-Fi Miami and continues to love traveling most. You can expect an EP release from SEEPS by the end of this year. In the meantime, catch her weekly radio show I’llGoRhythm, Wednesdays at 8PM PST on Mix93FM Los Angeles and worldwide on Mix93FM.com.

"This past month, I spent a lot of time back home in NYC. I noticed the topics of love, relationships and nostalgia kept coming up for me and my friends, that inspired the music. So, after playing out a ton and evaluating the current population on dance floors, I pondered on my happiest times running around NYC; pure dance floors, parties at Giant Step and hip hop shows at Tramps remain most cherished in my heart from 1995-97. The first track here, I’ve carried throughout my life; stemming from a Giant Step mixtape, and later realizing it was produced by a dear friend. Life is so nuts! I love to play records x digital, multiple channels at once, that's what I did here; on one take. This is my signature house and jazz sound, an underpinning of obnoxious Boricua energy, always; while I can't help either telling a story or sending a love letter to NYC. I’m forever proud of my upbringing and who I am today. The knowledge. It was just meant to be. MIRA, XOXA!"

South London producer Ben Hauke takes a sonic excursion to South America via Lewisham for a new seven track release for Far Out Recordings. While littered with Afro-Latin percussion, and samples of obscure Brazilian, Cuban and Colombian records, Only Old stays true to Ben’s distinctly London identity, with a record that fluctuates between house, broken beat and instrumental hip-hop. 
Having collaborated with the likes of Nubya Garcia and Joe Armon Jones, Ben Hauke stands at the electronic end of London’s new jazz movement. Currently working on new releases with more of a focus on live instrumentation, Ben titled the release ‘Only Old’ as it leans more heavily on his foundational approach to music making: an idiosyncratic, almost brazen sampling style in productions bursting with personality.  
Always full of character and style, Hauke’s productions have seen him likened to Theo Parrish and Madlib, with an altogether physical approach to sound. Title track ‘Only Old’ is moody broken beat with eerie sampled vocals and piano. ‘Get Up To Get Down’ is a light n’ breezy summer house stepper, while Brazil-inspired ‘Runners’ sounds as if it was made for MF Doom. 
Only Old will be released on 180g Vinyl and digitally 20th July. Sleeve design by fellow South London based artist Samuel Lloyd.

Vancouver dance staple, Jesse Bru, is rotated heavily on German party outfit and record label – Inhale Exhale. With preceding ‘Ships into the Night EP’ released under the imprint, Jesse Bru adds track ‘Swing Fishing’ onto Inhale Exhale’s forthcoming V/A compilation featuring artists Buzz Compass, Leo Woelfel, Inherit the World, Ben Mudi as well as Gloved Hands. From shadowy corners of city squares, ‘Swing Fishing’ pieces together cobblestone kicks, evocative vocal loops, and ghastly chords that flips the script midway with luminous harmonics, warm claps and a soulful sensibility at daybreak.

Limited 300 hand-numbered copies. Scheduled for release November 12th 2018.
