Based in Stockholm since the late 1990s, British-born Mark Seven began his obsession with the dance at now vaunted London parties such as Delirium, to a soundtrack of Soul, Funk, and Hip Hop. As Acid House took root in the capital Mark became a regular at the similarly hallowed Future and Shoom and started organizing his own events. His passion for discovery led him to journey to the U.S. and Europe to source vinyl, and has resulted in his own on-line store, JusWax. In Stockholm Mark set up the Black Lodge all-nighters, mix-tapes from which helped to alert the outside world to his knowledge and ability. 

Mark is probably one of the best selectors around and is making a journey over here next month (details of that here: http://on.fb.me/1dwxT5v). 

With that in min we thought it was high time we asked him to formulate a mix for the R$N series.

For Episode 02 of the Balearic London mix series we're joined by the amazing Jaye Ward. Jaye is an expert at all things weird and wonky, from ambient to techno, and in this mix she explores the trippier sides of balearic. DJ Harvey selected her several times to support him - be it at his album launch or clubs like KOKO - so you know she must be excellent with his stamp of approval. Expect the unexpected and dive in.

Bevan's DJ sets, rather than follow trends, are always a direct reflection of his current musical rotation built around constantly searching for records and picking up new lifelong favourites along the way.
His record bag centres around vocal-led garage house sounds from the US in the early 90's, along with choice boogie and soul cuts that preceded it.<br><br>
Born in London and based in Amsterdam, after studying a Masters degree in Musicology, Bevan is now working at Rush Hour Records.

Boot is a collector and selector from Nijmegen whose passion lies in world and disco music. Sounds from africa, brasil and island music like zouk or soca are often being played in his sets. 
On the other hand Boot is deeply invested in italo, house and other electronic grooves. He finds his eclectic way of blending it al together in his sets.
