Russian born MLDJ makes positive contributions to progressive dance music with a retro flare. Having been part of our “Winter Sun” collection, MLDJ now debuts with a sassy EP on our imprint. 

The release commences with a “Warm” up, the first pair exhibiting the main titular track. MLDJ’s original interweaves modern progressive with retro touches. The arp-sy chords smoothly blend in with a catchy hook phrase that will immediately become a fixture in the listener’s memory. Belgian producer Jasper De Ceuster brings his Dutch roots to our table, and wow, does his remix thrive in the retrowave culture. De Ceuster, an avid fan of synthwave, harvests an unrelenting wave of nostalgia in his cultivation of arpeggiated synths and flashy retro appeal. The EP continues with a second round of retro progressive. “Forgotten Photo” is that one picture from our past, tucked away in an old box, that evokes splendid memories. Bouncy chords and jubilant plucks give way to lush summer feelings. Dim Val Pol debuts with a flavorful recipe that embellishes the original with his own simmering combination of arps and percussion.
