I NEED TO GET OUT

A pre-vocal instrumental mix of a track I've been working on. I wrote most of the parts on guitar before adding in the piano arrangement. I doubled up the bass riff on the chorus with guitar to give it some beef! It's a sort of ballad with an up-tempo chorus section and a sprinking of synth lead hooks.
This is still work in progress but here it is as it currently stands.
The title - well life is art isn't it? That would account for the tragedy and the comedy all mixed up together. It's an art to tap into the things that make us happy and let that be the driver of your life - instead of all the other stuff that gets in the way.
The cover is a digital rendering of a landscape photo I took where I turned it into something completely abstract.
