On a dusty, tattered sign you make out the words "To ISL OFOC LUS ON". Still making sense of how it reads, you spot an eerie island just off the coast. Reaching it won't be without great risk, and you aren't sure how you'd be rewarded for the trek, if at all. But something mysterious and even secretive about the isle caught your eye, luring you deeper down the slope...

Before you take off towards the island, you notice a second sign. It marks a path that breaks off even deeper into the forest of Split Rock Peak. In freshly painted lettering: NIGHTMARE LODGE. And under it, DEFUNCT 1981. It's less a sign than it is a warning. You can tell that no one has taken this path for a very long time. But you've never been one for warnings, have you? Even ones that seem to be begging you to turn back...
