Techno legend Christian Smith is back with his first EP at VOLTA. He takes care of the fifth EP with his usual compelling style. The Tronic label head needs little introduction as a mainstay of the underground for the past 20 years. There is little he hasn't done and now he shows he still has fresh sounds up his sleeve each time.

One Giant Consciousness is an all consuming cut with rumbling kick drums and earth shattering bass. The hi hats are razor sharp and cosmic vocals add extra intergalactic energy. Dreamer then brings on a deeper sound with sustained chords hypnotising your mind. The majestic melodic patterns then begin to fall from the stars as you gaze on in wonder and march to the beat.

This is a powerful offering from Smith.

BEYOND COMPREHENSION
This track is inspired by the perception of the human mind of the surrounding events that take place around us. They always inspire something in us, and for some of us the positive events are more noticeable and desirable, but for others the darker events represent their own unique inspiration and motivation. That is why the track is called BEYOND COMPREHENSION, representing the inability of the human mind to comprehend events that take place around us these days. The vocal in the break of the track expresses exactly that – with the touch of dark Techno. My observations of all the fascinating positive events but also events that may be considered dark and negative led me to create this track and express the fascination of beyond what we can comprehend. 

RESTART
This track is inspired by my journey, and the restarts throughout, on the path of creating my sound. It creates the intersection of melodic, hard, and a little bit of dystopian style.

The Polish duo Duss are bringing the heat once again. Being no strangers to Pursuit, these 2 have an unparalleled synergy in the studio which once again manifests itself into 2 originals and a collab with Rob Hes. 

Opening things up, the A1 is called The Granulator and provides intricate hypnotizing reversed stabs and melodic grooves ready to deploy. Following the lead single, we’ve got Rejected Bomb and Intensified Tension, all peak time stormers and staples in Rob Hes’ sets.
Additionally we are very happy to announce the debut from Belgium stronghold Ramon Tapia. With releases on Tronic, Elevate and Truesoul this talended and prolific producer provides us with his take on the release single The Granulator.
