marienus is a Rotterdam-based dj originally from Utrecht. He plays gritty industrial electronics as a base, with occasional hints of idm, broken techno, electro and even some hip-hop influence.

As a host of his monthly show on Operator Radio called No Soap Radio, he curates talented artists residing in the broad field of experimental and dark electronic music.

PHXS16 is coming from Athens based ritual electronic project Current 23. 

In the field of this initial contraction, a principal light was set. The following diffusion, led to a state of fracture. Its concussions and vibrations constituted the tinder upon whom, the sonic transaction of this chaotic current was formed. The later’ s recording is captured as a gust, but also as a jubilation, in this specific cassette. Speaking of the ritualistic foundations of this audio amalgamation, these are fundamentally based upon certain – and monumental, as well – cases of artists such as Vidna Obmana and Zero Kama. Not neglecting to move on other, so far unearthed, aspects and paths. Feasting upon the altar of chaotic expansion. During the recordings various instruments were used and processed electronically together with voices and samples. Current 23 are George Kanavos, George Diamantopoulos and Fr K141
