Captivated by the North Sea, its dune landscape and surrounding dark forests, Dim Garden's musical endeavors expand into swampy synthesis, gothic electronic experimentation, and field recordings. Methods of music production and DJing include using the decks as a method of sound collage, blending warm and cold waves. Together with RJM Vanderheyden, Dim Garden co-runs the DIY independent label Hunger!. The pair also perform and record as the industrial and power electronics duo Baglover.

Cold minimal wave hailing from the 80's German, Belgian and French DIY underground (Der Plan, Neuntage, X-Ray Pop, Absolute Body Control) and more recent wave (EYE, Shaknis & Egzotikka, Dame Area) feature prominently on this mix for Sonidos Subterraneos, including recent releases (Dissemblance, Perchten Scyla, Araf) and unreleased material (norhernorthere, Dim Garden), oscillating between gothic ballads, dance floor tunes and dark ambient musings.

Bulgarian dark mastermind MANASYt (Petar Tassev) has been rocking his own brand of Nurolektro since 2003. He’s responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Touchin' Bass, Kommando 6, Musar and the infamous Bunker - along with about 40 others.
An artist that couldn’t care less about trends nor hypes, and whose main driving force is that authentic passion for the genre. 
Some of his tunes resemble a future horror movie score, others a visit to an asylum, but most sound like the soundtrack to an alien invasion.
Currently based in Xiamen, China.

Born in South Korea, and raised in the French countryside, the Paris based multidisciplinary artist, producer, and dj embodies many forms: master of balance manipulation, engulfed human torch, dancer, archer, circus performer, singer, and creator of intense experimental percussion. With this mix, the keen selector traverses through metallic broken rhythms, icy clipped breaks, and a myriad of macabre electronics, culminating in a dark, hypnotic exploration of renegade music. For signals 033 we welcome Rotterdam-based DJ and Producer, Marienus. 

After a handful of years of DJing on both the airwaves as host of his own Operator show, No Soap Radio, and in clubs for organisations such as Pinkman, he has proven his worth within Rotterdams vibrant club scene.

Now dabbling with production, he recently released his debut track, a collaborative effort with xceptor as part of a compilation on his own crews imprint, Public Sex Regime. 

In his sets he showcases gritty, grimy electronics, blending styles sucu as industrial, ebm, wave, electro and techno with influences of hip-hop and weirdo experimental. By breaking the boundaries between the aforementioned genres the young artist has cemented a recognisable and distinctive sound.
