"Dead Hearts” are a newly formed band from South East London. The band consists of:
Rico Rice - Vocals
Olly Meager - Guitars
James Stockman - Guitars
Rory Bevis – Bass & Backing Vocals
Cameron Blower – Drums & Vocals

Since the break-up of Olly and Cameron’s previous band, the pair had been hard at work writing new music that they felt was current for them and along the way found three great new friends who would make up the rest of the band. Since the formation of the group, every member has been hard at work practising and writing original music, which takes influence from a variety of genres and styles, including some such as; metalcore, hardcore and post-hardcore. The band has also produced three recorded tracks, all of which have received extremely positive feedback and the band is hoping to record much more soon. The band quickly gained fans through their recorded tracks, mainly on websites such as Facebook and Tumblr, receiving large amounts of positive comments about the unique style and direction of the band.

About six months after the band had formed its full line up, the band decided that they would have to let their old bassist go due to his previous commitments but had already found their current bassist who also was able to offer backing vocals for Cameron.

The band is currently writing more new songs with an exciting new style and feel, hoping to soon record an EP with the transition into a lower tuning. Each song has its own style mixing distinctive riffs, chuggy breakdowns, beautiful vocal melodies with powerful screams and unique drum beats. Each different song will have its own motive and ‘scene’ behind it which the band will try to convey through the music, tempo and dynamics of the songs.

“Dead Hearts” are a band that are extremely passionate about their music and bringing it to their fans, either through live performance or recorded and have amazing energy and presence which really reflects on their music. The band is hoping to make a huge impact throughout the rest of 2011 and through 2012 and gain the recognition they strive for.
