Taxi Driver was born out of blinding anger, the type of frustration that makes you want to crawl out of your skin, and a feeling of approaching insanity... all of which are feelings I've been dealing with a lot in 2020. 

After rewatching Taxi Driver, Martin Scorsese's 1976 Neo-noir classic, I found myself kind of reluctantly empathising with Travis Bickle. He's fucked up, can't sleep, drinks all the time, and just wants to DO SOMETHING with his life. I get that. 

So, I decided to write an EP from his perspective. Travis' repulsion at the world he lives in is totally understandable when we look at the complete immorality of our scumbag politicians, and the rage inducing apathy of the general population.

This EP is my first attempt at 'rock' music. I found a lot of inspiration from American hardcore, classic 70s U.K Punk and industrial metal.
