1) Tell us a bit about yourself and your record collection.

I am an avid collector of super soulful & funky albums & singles released on 12" & 7" vinyl. I have been collecting since the mid 80s and I estimate owning over 30K records.

2) 45/7 is all about celebrating the 7". Can you tell us a bit about what you love about the format.

My love for the 7" format stems from two DJs that were influential in my addiction. DJs Karl Injex & Rich Medina. I collect and play 80s Boogie, Disco, House, Dance Classics, Hip Hop, Rock, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Breaks and Rarities.  

3) One hour of vinyl goodness... can you talk us through your selection for your 45/7 mix?

I wanted to showcase songs that can burn up a dance floor, but aren't all that popular to most people outside of collectors. There is so much good music that goes overlooked and I find it as my mission to introduce these wonderful music gifts to the ears or the masses and those who need healing through the music.

4) Where can people catch you / listen to your music? 

I am based in Atlanta Georgia, USA. My all vinyl, 45RPM, no laptop needed event is called Kickin Up Dust and going into it's 14 year of burning up dance floors. The event takes place the 2nd Saturday of the month at the Sound Table.
