Gate is a now defunct post-punk noise-rock band created by the Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga, the founders of Nahvalr and Have a Nice Life, two years before HaNL's Deathconsciousness released although Gate existed at the same time as HaNL.
Gate only had one album made, that being "Now While They Aren't Looking, Tear It Apart."
