Regarding subject matter "Nemesis" describes at best the direction of DEAD ALONE’s new album. Devastation, death and sadness are the leading topics of this longplayer that is the most grown up and multi-faceted one of the group so far. Between Death, Black and Doom Metal DEAD ALONE created their own multi-dimensional space for over ten years and develope it consistently with "Nemesis". Steadily changing between aggression and grief these ten new compositions are creating a vortex that tears the listeners right into the darkness and captures them merciless between these extremes. 

The drums were recorded at the "Devasoundz Studios" (SEPTICFLESH, ROTTING CHRIST, CHAOSTAR) in Athens directed by Fotis Benardo (SEPTICFLESH, CHAOSTAR). For the recordings of bass guitars, guitars and vocals DEAD ALONE worked with Sebastian Moser of the "Grotesque Studios" in Munich again, who already gave “Ad Infinitum” the right sound. Besides the recordings the mix and the mastering were also made there.

“Nemesis” will be released on december 5th, 2014 by “Supreme Chaos Records”. Besides a regular jewel case a strictly limited digipack edition of 100 pieces with alternative artwork will be available.

The music of the band founded in 2004 ranges from grooving dark-death-metal to doom that is as heavy as lead. Between brute forced aggression and sinister atmosphere there is still enough space for thrilling melodies and deep lyrics. After the debut "Slivering Marrow" in 2006, 2008 followed the EP "Phobia". The second album "Vitium", which was harder and rougher, was released in 2010. With this album DEAD ALONE earned a lot of positive critics and the title “Band Of The Month April 2010“ on the webzine "Metalunderground.at". With "Ad Infinitum" DEAD ALONE joined forces with Supreme Chaos Records, which establish the band more widely in the underground scene. At the end of 2014 the fourth album "Nemesis" will be released. For this one the band recorded the drums in Athens under the direction of Fotis Benardo (SEPTICFLESH, CHAOSTAR).

Having played many successful shows with bands like NOCTE OBDUCTA, MERCENARY, DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT, BELPHEGOR or EISREGEN and with the performance at the Extremefest 2012 and the Metalfest Austria 2011, they strenghtened their reputation as a kick-ass live act!
