Hey there DAAPers... at long last the butchers made the obligatory cover song. We chose Nine Inch Nail's song "The Wretched." Because...it's NIN and they...Trent..whatever...are a huge influence on us as a band and as individuals. The Fragile is a timeless epic and The Wretched is such a powerful song. We had a lot of fun doing this cover. We hope we did it justice and we hope y'all enjoy it. Cheers!

The butchers are proud to present to you our rendition of the child's nursery rhyme "The Hearse Song" or also called "Don't You Ever Laugh as the Hearse Goes By."  Probably most remember this from "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark." The playfully macabre nature of the poem was just too perfect to pass up. 

The song will be available to download only through Nov 1st. After that you'll still be able to listen to it on here but the download option will be disabled. It will eventually be on our next studio album "Voices Under Glass."

This version is pre-mastered so expect the album one to be somewhat different. We hope you enjoy this little morsel from the halls of the slaughterhouse.

This is one straight from the vault. The earliest of early songs for Dead Animal Assembly Plant (circa 2007.) Very rough around the edges but it's part of the whole creative process to look back on the early work with nostalgia and appreciation.
