Dead Battery kicks off 2014 on a solid note with his latest EP, “The Devil’s Signature”. The young Austrian producer has crafted two tracks that demonstrate his ability to adapt his expert sound design and mastery of Drum & Bass rhythms to very different moods and contexts. 

The title track is a veritable descent into darkness. “The Devil’s Signature” has all the elements of a rave dance-floor killer, with its pounding drums, distorted bass hits and ominous vocal samples. The intensity is dialed down a notch for track two; “Just For Now”, is an introspective odyssey of lush atmospheric pads, ethereal vocals and pulsating, soft grooves. It should appeal to fans of Dead Battery’s previous foray into electronica, 2013’s “Lost II”.
