When @ddrkirbyisq asked me to do a remix for his official debut artist album, I couldn't turn him down. After hearing several songs off the album, I decided I wanted to go ahead and remix the first song on the album: Fortitude. The original is a fun, breakbeat sort of thing, but this has kicked the intensity up a few notches and pushed it into my favorite DnB realm. A very old song I made around 1993 on Amiga 500 with Protracker, one of my first decent chiptune, all the sound (except drums) are made of executables or picture files loaded as samples and cut and looped to sound right, even the neat buzzin' bass was found in a picture's segment of data :D

Stratus

Just a little love letter to a genre that vastly broadened my musical horizons. In particular the early works of Simon Posford (Hallucinogen and Shpongle) had this lasting effect on my approach to writing music. The way he borrowed ideas from anywhere and everywhere really made me feel like genres and constraints are determined by the musician, not the listener, which was a good lesson for young me.

All sound goes from Atari Falcon 030 (stock version). 
It's a 10-channels song made on DHS-Tracker (Digital Home Studio).

This is my third Falcon song. It took the first place on digital music contest of SillyVenture 2012 party.
