Fresh off the release of the debut LP People and Places, it’s no secret that FLT RSK is making moves and now that drumbeat is being taken up, both figuratively and literally, by a cadre of musical peers in the form of a remix album. 

The DJ/producers here assembled are all well-established performers in their own rights, and their deft repurposing of FLT RSK’s genre-eluding compositions for the oft-tricky prospect of a remix compilation shows the kind of care and respect for the material that can only blossom out of true artistic kinship – a fact that likely inspired the compilation’s title, Our Peoples. 

Both the full remix compilation and “For Real” Remix EP will be available for FREE DOWNLOAD on August 30th via bandcamp in a run-up to the official release show at New Earth Music Hall on September 3rd.

DeadBeatDJs is the construct of Athens & Atlanta-based producers Chris Davis and Taylor Houchens. DeadBeatDJs' sound is a synthesis of select dance; floor-pounding electronic sounds fused with mind-blowing sub-bass so fat that it'll make your head spin. When performing live DeadBeatDJs utilizes various MIDI controllers to spin and sample a variety of music that'll satisfy the dance floors and give you a taste of that dirty south sass.
