On Meltdown, Carré  ( @carreo ) mines closer to the dub core of her sound than ever before. The title track signals the intent, a memorable hook cascading into melodic view before the lurched momentum locks in to its sweeping bassline for pure dancefloor symbiosis. Crawler goes wider, a giddy stepper that’s dynamic swing twirls excitedly on a 2 step pivot until dissolving into a plummeting stomp for ignition. Season Seven sharpens up with a seductive pout-lip, moving loose and free across the stretchy wobbles, peppered vocals and sunrise-addled serenity. On remix duties, a pioneer and modern hero apply their inimitable touch.
