Energy is the latest single from CELO, showing the contrast between his love for hard, tearing bass lines and liquid style vocals and pads. Pin sharp drums introduce the track, leading into the liquid style pad, as the tearing bass line is teased before the drop signalled by the vocal hook.

The bass lines blast until the track, firing forward as more and more bass elements progress the track, before the vocal hook leads the track back into the liquid phase before the breakdown. After giving the listener an opportunity to breath, the second drop re-introduces the vocal hook with the beat, before firing back into the tearing bass line
